Understanding condensation and the Dripstop® solution

Condensation forms when there are large temperature differences, often during the transition from day to night or indoor to outdoor. High humidity makes this problem worse. This can lead to corrosion, structural damage, damage to stored goods and furnishings, and health issues caused by mold and mildew. Extremely thin, but with a strong water absorption capacity and excellent properties, Dripstop® keeps condensation safely under control. Safety Measures

Wear Protective Gloves: Dripstop® DIY contains synthetic rubber glue, which can cause skin irritation upon contact. Using protective gloves will help prevent skin irritation and allergic reactions, as well as cuts and abrasions.

Ensure Proper Ventilation: When applying Dripstop® DIY, ensure your working area is well-ventilated to avoid inhaling any fumes that may be emitted by the self adhesive components.

Protect Eyes and Head: Avoid contact with the eyes, as the adhesive can cause irritation. Use safety goggles and a helmet during application to protect your eyes and head from falling debris.

Handle Tools With Care: Handle the tape measure and scissors carefully to avoid snapping and injury. Keep blades sharp and clean for precise cuts, keep fingers clear of the retracting tape measure, and store the tool safely when not in use.

Secure Your Work Space: When working on a ladder or work platform at elivated hights, closely follow the instructions of the equipment’s manufacturer. To ensure stability, check for any damages before use and avoid overloading with weight. At heights exceeding 1.5m, wear shoes with protective caps and strap yourself into a safety harness.

Use on Approved Surfaces Only: Apply Dripstop® DIY only on steel, aluminum, and galvanized sheet roofing as specified. Using it on other surfaces may result in inadequate adhesion and potential hazards.

Store Safely: Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its effectiveness and prevent degradation.

Dispose Responsibly: Follow local regulations for the disposal of synthetic rubber products to minimize environmental impact.

Avoid UV Exposure: Ensure that the edge of the roof with Dripstop® DIY is protected from UV light to maintain the product's integrity.

Keep Out of Reach of Children: Store Dripstop® DIY out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion or contact.

Follow Temperature Guidelines: Use Dripstop® DIY within the temperature range of -40°C to +80°C to
ensure optimal performance and safety.
